Mashable is taking nominations for this years Mashable Awards. The point of the awards is to bring light to great sites, ideas, and people all over the web and that’s where our Bridget comes in. Bridget does a phenomenal job keeping us all updated on her comings and goings and her current projects and she deserves to be noticed. You can vote once a day everyday until November 29th and they’ll announce the finalists on December 1. To vote for Bridget, simply click here: http://mashable.com/awards/votes?c=36&v=%40BridgetRegan and login using either your Facebook or Twitter account.
A few days back we posted about The Torch Online’s Sexiest Woman of Fantasy, 2009-2010 poll, and boy did you all vote! When I posted, Bridget’s Kahlan was in a dead heat with Tabrett Bethel’s excellent Cara but Kahlan pulled way ahead to win by 5% in the end. Doing a little math, or rather having my calculator do a little math, since around 4,700 votes were cast that means that 1,551votes were for Kahlan and that only 235 votes separated her and Cara. It’s apparently random statistics day here on HBE, I hope you’ve enjoyed it.
You can read The Torch Online’s (really funny) write up of the winners here: http://thetorchonline.com/2010/06/14/the-sexiest-woman-of-fantasy-2010-results/
Over on The Torch Online they are holding a poll over the Sexiest Women of Fantasy, 2009-2010. Of course, Kahlan is an option (as is Cara). You can visit the poll over on The Torch’s site here: http://thetorchonline.com/2010/06/03/the-sexiest-women-of-fantasy-2009-2010/
The poll is now closed! Click here for the results: http://herblueeyes.com/2010/06/15/winner-of-the-sexiest-woman-of-fantasy-poll/
There are a number of Faxo contests going on that are very interesting to us at Her Blue Eyes. The winners don’t receive anything but pride but that’s pretty cool in itself! So, here they are.
The Ms. Twitter contest, where Bridget is, at the moment of this posting, in the lead can be found here: http://tweeter.faxo.com/Ms_Twitter/2010/05
Then there is the Sexiest Twitter, with Bridget well in the lead! That can be found here: http://tweeter.faxo.com/Sexiest_Twitter/2010/05
Next is Best TV Show. Legend of the Seeker is in first place here as well! That can be found here: http://tweeter.faxo.com/Best_TV_Show
And lastly, with just a hint of modesty, we present the Best Website contest. Her Blue Eyes is in second and we don’t mind a bit if you vote for us!
That link is right here: http://tweeter.faxo.com/Best_Website/2010/05
So, if you have a Twitter account or can enter a Captcha to prove you’re a real human and not a bot, you can vote for Bridget in two contests, LotS in another and this very site in a fourth! Have fun!
There is a contest going on over at Faxo.com. They’re searching for the most popular female Tweeter. As of this posting, Bridget is on page 77 but we can do better than that! Simply type @BridgetRegan and click on “Find” at the top where it says “Twitter UserName” and it will direct you to whatever page she is on. (There’s an awful lot of pages so searching page by page is probably a bad idea, better to use the search function.) You can then vote and it allows you to vote again every 20 minutes. Knowing us, we can get her to move up in those ranks! Her Tweets are wonderful! So, let’s get out the vote. Here’s the link: http://tweeter.faxo.com/Ms_Twitter/2010/01
Thanks to Bill for sending us the link!
Edit: Bridget is also up on the same site for Best Actress! Vote here: http://tweeter.faxo.com/Best_Actress_on_Twitter
Wired is running its annual Sexiest Geek poll and Bridget’s been nominated! I have to admit, I can’t even remotely deduce what the requirements are to be included as a choice aside from some random person on the internet nominating you, but it’s a chance for a LOT of publicity for Bridget so please, go vote.

Thanks to John for the link!
Last month we mentioned that Slice of SciFi was taking votes as to what interviews they should replay during their winter break. Thanks to you all Bridget received 192 votes, that’s 161 votes more then then her closest competition! Slice of SciFi is more then an internet show, it’s also broadcast over satellite radio so there’s a huge audience out there that gets to hear Bridget every time her interviews are broadcast. These interviews are always very good and very lengthy so the more we show our support for Bridget the more likely we are to get more interviews.
So, head on over to http://www.sliceofscifi.com/2009/12/26/slice-of-scifi-245/ and tell them how much you enjoy Bridget’s interviews and that you’d love more in the future!

It appears that Bridget and Craig have other mentions in the latest Portrait. The first is that they are mentioned in the “Breakout Stars of ’09″ article. They are brought up near the bottom of the page. You can find that here: http://www.portraitmagazine.net/archives/breakout09.html
And, for our second tidbit, break out your voting mouse clicking fingers, folks. It’s the Portrait Choice Awards 2009. Bridget is nominated in the following categories: Best Female Television Performance, Breakthrough Female Performance and Best Dressed Female. And not to be outdone, even though this is technically a Bridget site, Craig has been nominated too, so let’s show him our support as well. He is nominated in the categories of Best Male Television Performance, Breakthrough Male Performance and Best Male Character for his portrayal of Richard Cypher. Let’s see if we can make them winners again! The voting can be found here: http://www.portraitmagazine.net/choiceawards.html
Thanks to Amanda for bringing this to our attention! Now let’s get voting!
