I know that technically Bridget is nearly a day ahead of it, but people were sending me birthday greetings last night to be included in our project and I wanted to make sure I got them all in but I’m really sorry that this is kinda late. Though this does make me wonder about things like if she was born on the 3rd in California wouldn’t that technically be the 4th in New Zealand?

Also, Chris and I have watched, along with the rest of the world, the devastation wrought on Haiti by the MASSIVE earthquake that rocked Port-au-Prince this week. It will take the Haitian people years to get over what has happened and we want to help. So for the next two weeks we will be taking donations via PayPal and we will donate all the funds we receive to UNICEF (Charity Navigator rating: 4 stars) in Bridget’s name. The donation account will remain open from now until Saturday January 30 and I’ll update the amount of money we’ve received so far on a daily basis. Click on the button on the left to donate.
