Some in the LotS community have taken it upon themselves to try to drum up support for Seeker getting a new season by spamming and otherwise harassing sites in their comments sections. We here at Her Blue Eyes do NOT encourage this and actually think it is counterproductive, as people may not want to watch Seeker if they think we are pushy, demanding spammers. We all want Seeker back but we need to respect others and pick the right times and places to fight our battles. Please keep this in mind when campaigning for Season 3.  Just a tip!

One of our followers, Chen, has sent us a petition to try to get Legend of the Seeker released on Blu Ray. We encourage you to sign the petition if you are so inclined. Edit: As was pointed out in the comments, you can in fact buy the episodes in HD off iTunes (which Chris and I knew) so there’s really no reason they shouldn’t be able to release them in Blu Ray.

There is a contest going on over at Faxo.com. They’re searching for the most popular female Tweeter. As of this posting, Bridget is on page 77 but we can do better than that! Simply type @BridgetRegan and click on “Find” at the top where it says “Twitter UserName” and it will direct you to whatever page she is on. (There’s an awful lot of pages so searching page by page is probably a bad idea, better to use the search function.) You can then vote and it allows you to vote again every 20 minutes. Well, if this source is correct, iTunes will be doing a promotion whereby one million lucky people will get a chance to download the season two premiere of Legend of the Seeker at some point before the November 7th scheduled air date. The details, such as they are, can be found at the following link. Again, we don’t know for certain that this is fact or what the precise details are, but if we find anything more out, we’ll let you all know. Chris & I have been looking into a few supposedly official Bridget sightings around the web and debating what to do about them and whether or not we should post them. As one of them has now popped up in our comments we don’t have much choice in the matter.

To the best of my knowledge there are 2 social networking sites that have our Bridget listed as users. One is Facebook, and that one we’re pretty sure is fake. If you click around it it’s not hard to see why we think that. Under the Info tab actress is misspelled “Attrice” and no where on there does it mention her stage work, which we all know from her interviews she is very proud of. There’s also the fact that the user hasn’t updated or posted anything public. And, if you look at the user picture, Bridget’s eyes are green:
As you can tell from the name of this site, as well as the original picture (which you can see in our gallery here), Bridget has blue eyes. In the Sword of Truth series, Kahlan has green eyes which is probably the reason for the change. Could it really be Bridget? Maybe. But I highly doubt it.

The second site is Twitter, http://twitter.com/BridgetRegan. That one I’m fairly sure is real judging on both the content and the previously unseen userpic (which we’ve added to the gallery here). I’ve sent a link to our site via Twitter in the hope of establishing a dialogue so that we can provide you all with some nifty Bridget stuff, so far no response. But again, going off of everything I can see I’m going to say it’s real.

These are just our opinions, we have no real way of knowing one way or the other, so feel free to take this post with a grain of salt and do your own investigating and see what you think.

This is a link to an online petition trying to make Bridget Wonder Woman in the upcoming Warner Brothers movie. Online petitions are kind of an uncertain prospect. You can never tell if the people you want to listen to you will. The director/casting director/producer will make the choice they feel is best for the success of the film. But we can certainly give it a try.
