Shed 11 Costume House Site & eBay Auctions Of Genuine LotS Costumes

We at Her Blue Eyes received an e-mail today notifying us of a online store called Shed 11 that is auctioning off 5 genuine LotS costumes on eBay. They are wonderful pieces and would make any collector proud. We’d like to thank Michael for sending us the e-mail that alerted us!

D’Haran Sword And A Prop Whip On eBay

There’s a D’Haran sword being sold on eBay, at least allegedly. The person selling it claims to have worked on the show and it is, in fact, coming from New Zealand. I can’t completely verify the validity of this auction but it seems like it could be the real deal. Also, a whip is being sold. Again, no real guarantees that it came from the show are there, like a certificate of authenticity, but it’s coming from New Zealand as well and the seller claims to have purchased it from the creators of the show at a prop auction. Sword of Truth on eBay!

A version of the Sword of Truth that was apparently being used in rehearsals is up on eBay being sold by Bridget’s dear stunt double. A portion of the proceeds will go to cancer-related charity. There’s already a fair number of bids on it, looks like it will be a popular item. So, if you’re interested in a piece of LotS history and also in helping out a good cause, take a look. More Seeker But With Respect

Some in the LotS community have taken it upon themselves to try to drum up support for Seeker getting a new season by spamming and otherwise harassing sites in their comments sections. We here at Her Blue Eyes do NOT encourage this and actually think it is counterproductive, as people may not want to watch Seeker if they think we are pushy, demanding spammers. We all want Seeker back but we need to respect others and pick the right times and places to fight our battles. Please keep this in mind when campaigning for Season 3. Just a tip!

LotS Blu Ray Petition

One of our followers, Chen, has sent us a petition to try to get Legend of the Seeker released on Blu Ray. We encourage you to sign the petition if you are so inclined. Edit: As was pointed out in the comments, you can in fact buy the episodes in HD off iTunes (which Chris and I knew) so there’s really no reason they shouldn’t be able to release them in Blu Ray.

Ms. Twitter, Faxo.com Contest

There is a contest going on over at Faxo.com. They’re searching for the most popular female Tweeter. As of this posting, Bridget is on page 77 but we can do better than that! Simply type @BridgetRegan and click on “Find” at the top where it says “Twitter UserName” and it will direct you to whatever page she is on. (There’s an awful lot of pages so searching page by page is probably a bad idea, better to use the search function.) You can then vote and it allows you to vote again every 20 minutes.
