The Camp Wanatachi pledge drive met its goal and will be moving forward, thanks to the generous help of a number of people. This Sword of Truth was apparently used in the fight scenes by Craig for all the fighting in Season 1. The seller is Bridget’s stunt double once again and some of the proceeds will go to help Child Cancer. A few days back we posted about The Torch Online’s Sexiest Woman of Fantasy, 2009-2010 poll, and boy did you all vote! When I posted, Bridget’s Kahlan was in a dead heat with Tabrett Bethel’s excellent Cara but Kahlan pulled way ahead to win by 5% in the end. Doing a little math, or rather having my calculator do a little math, since around 4,700 votes were cast that means that 1,551votes were for Kahlan and that only 235 votes separated her and Cara. It’s apparently random statistics day here on HBE, I hope you’ve enjoyed it.

Eek, in the category of things I meant to stay on top of (but totally failed at) are all of the Legend of the Seeker auctions going on over on eBay. But as a white confessor dress has come up, I figured you all might be interested it. I totally confess to having dropped the ball when they auctioned off Kahlan’s black dress last week (sorry anyone who had well over $2,000 to spend on it). On a side note, I’m totally blown away by the prices some of this merchandise is fetching. Dayna, Bridget’s stunt double for Legend of the Seeker, went to a sale the studio had last week and bought a few props from the show and has put them up on eBay. The first item is the radahan Kahlen wore in the season one finale: http://item.ebay.com/230481766967

The Camp Wanatachi folks are having a pledge drive to make the Camp Wanatachi Concert a reality. Some of the folks involved are even forgoing payment for their services in order to put this production on but they need more funds. Their stated goal is $5,000 but I’m sure they would be ecstatic with more. And there are some great incentives to pledge. At the $100 level, you get a CD signed by the cast and production team, including our Bridget. For $500, you get a 30 minute Skype session with Bridget! And for $5,000, Bridget and the rest of the production team will take you out for drinks in New York City! Head on over to the pledge site, check it out, see what they are offering. Minimum pledge, $1.

They will be putting on two shows, on June 3rd and 4th, and it is possible that Bridget might be there. We don’t know for certain but she’s been pretty involved, so there’s a shot.  If anyone goes, please send us a write up to put on the site! Thanks!
