Over on 24-HR Entertainment they’ve named Bridget as their #13 Babe of Autumn. They’ve also given us some nice site love which is always appreciated. The more publicity Bridget gets the better, so go on over an leave a comment.
According to the Philadelphia Daily News Bridget will be attending this weekend’s premier of her new movie, The Best and the Brightest. So for any of you fortunate few who managed to get tickets before they sold out, you are in for a treat! As always, we’re happy to publish any reviews and/or pictures you guys might have of the movie and it’s premier.
You can read the entire article here: http://www.philly.com/dailynews/features/20101015_Philadelphia_Film_Festival_offers_an_early_glimpse_at_buzzworthy_movies.html
On a side note to the article, I don’t like us being called obsessive.
Update: Now it appears from one of Bridget’s Tweets that she won’t be attending the premiere. This is unfortunate, however, she also Tweeted that she has a good excuse. Whether this excuse is work-related or personal, we wish her the best! There will be other premieres!
Mashable is taking nominations for this years Mashable Awards. The point of the awards is to bring light to great sites, ideas, and people all over the web and that’s where our Bridget comes in. One of the questions we see asked most about Bridget and her time during Legend of the Seeker is… Where do we get one of those white dresses? With Halloween just around the corner I thought we’d post a few links to places where you can have the dress made and if any of you all have other suggestions or links, feel free to leave them in the comments.
First up, a link to someone who will custom make you both the white confessor dress as well as her corset. She’s got a few options for you, and it’ll coast you a bit, but her stuff looks incredible. So go check Heather’s stuff out here: http://www.verymerryseamstress.com/weblog/archives/2010/09/halloween_advice.html
Second, when we did the DragonCon costume contest, Kate sent us some wonderful information about her favorite seamstress, Jeannie Nitro, and the nifty Kahlan costumes that Jeannie had made for her. Jeannie makes both the white confessor dress as well as Kahlan’s green traveling outfit but not the corset. Check out Jeannie’s site here: http://www.jeannienitro.com. Kate has an account over on deviantART full of pictures of her Kahlan dresses in action here: http://theprincessnightmare.deviantart.com and there’s a fan group for Jeannie where other people have posted their action shots of their dresses here: http://jeannienitrofans.deviantart.com.

Hey guys, a few random notes for ya.
First up, The Best and the Brightest now has a website. There’s not a lot of information on it, but there is a form you can use to sign up for updates on when the movie will be showing in your area. http://bestnbrightestmovie.com/
Next, and I know I’m a bit late, Bridget’s eBay auction for Haiti sold for $3,350.00. I have to admit, by the time I got around to looking at the auction it was already far out of my price range. For all of you who bid, even if you didn’t win, you are AWESOME! This was such a great cause and I’m very proud to count myself among Bridget’s fans.
