“The Best and the Brightest” kept me laughing the whole time! It goes to show parents will do just about anything to find the best education for their child . The cast did an amazing job with their crazy antics and lines. However, Bridget Regan stole the show! She did a fantastic job as the “crazy ex-girlfriend”! I believe Bridget showed us how diverse she can be in her roles (Robin is very different than Kahlan). Any Bridget fan (or any comedy film lover) will immensely enjoy this film! Go get it! (Thanks again to Lindsey for mine!)

Many thanks to Jess for her infinite patience with us! There is a bit of a story that led to her not getting the DVD ahead of time as I had intended, but instead a few days after it was released. The best laid plans and all that.

The phenomenally wonderful Josh & Sommer from The Best and the Brightest have done us an altogether spiffy favor and sent us a pre-release copy of the DVD to giveaway! Instead of our standard giveaway contests, this one has a bit of a catch. We want to try and help create a buzz for the DVD leading up to release day so if you win we’d really appreciate it if you’d write up a review of the movie and the DVD special features and post it on Amazon.com as well as letting us post it here on the site. We’d also be sending it to the B&B team in case they want to post it on their site. So this also acts as a way for you to really spread the Bridget love to a wide audience, should you be so inclined.

The Best and the Brightest folks Tweeted today about a contest they are having. They are releasing stills from the movie and asking people to use either those shots and/or their imaginations to come up with poster ideas. You can also check out our gallery for a nice, new Bridget pic to use in your design!

So, go to movie’s Twitter, which is located here : BestNBrightest or their Facebook here: The Best and the Brightest and check out the stills, decide if you want to use them, or come up with your own entirely original idea. Then send them a message on Twitter or Facebook with the link to your creation. All right people, this will be our last Legend of the Seeker Season 2 DVD contest. All you have to do is write us a Season 2 Haiku. A haiku is a poem consisting of 17 syllables in a 5-7-5 syllable structure.

For example:
Mother Confessor
Never without her Seeker
Always together

I do understand that it’s a bit hard to be season two specific with so few words, as long as it’s generally LotS themed it’s ok.
