Chris and I would like to take a moment to note the passing of one of Bridget’s Legend of the Seeker co-stars, Joy Watson. Joy played the older version of Shota in the episodes Reckoning and Identity. She died as the result of a car crash in the UK where she was attending a WWII evacuee reunion. Aside from missing her on the show, she sounds as though she led a wonderful life and our condolences go out to her family.
On October 26th, Bridget and Craig, as well as Craig Parker who plays Darken Rahl and Tabrett Bethell who plays Cara, will be appearing in New Zealand at the Armageddon Expo.

Regan Wins “Wonder Woman” Poll by Michael Hickerson August 11, 2009
MTV asked and the fans have spoken.
And they want actress Bridget Regan to star as “Wonder Woman.”
Regan, who stars in the syndicated series “Legend of the Seeker,” took in 62% of the votes. The closest runner up was Megan Gale, who was cast for the now defunct “Justice League” movie, with 15%.
Well, Bridget fans have certainly spoken! The results of the Wonder Woman poll came out today and, no surprise to us, she ran away with it. She ended up with just over 62% of the vote. Good work to everyone who voted! This doesn’t mean she’ll get the role or that the movie will even be made but it shows the kind of devoted following Bridget has and, as Lindsey said, it’s great publicity. Thanks all!
ManCouch.com posted an article today that’s basically why Bridget is perfect for the role of Wonder Woman and all the other girls aren’t. It’s a really good article and it’s humorously entitled 1-Da-Woman: Bridget Regan. So go check that out here: http://www.mancouch.com/709351253/1-da-woman-bridget-regan/
Also, the MTV poll for Wonder Woman closes tomorrow at noon Eastern. As it stands now she’s at 62%. But please, go vote (again) if you haven’t already. That’s some awesome exposure if [when] Bridget wins.
(Bill, if you saw the Google Alert, and are now seeing this, Chris caught it for me. He’s going to have to start reading stuff before I post it. hehe)
Camp Wanatachi: A New Musical – FringeNYC Press Release by Natalie Weiss July 15, 2009
13 YEAR OLD CHRISTIAN LESBIAN IS CUTEST THING EVER!
(New York City, NY) Spirit-soaked and hormone-charged, CAMP WANATACHI is the new musical comedy about two 13-year-old-girls who fall in love at Christian summer camp.
Written and composed by Natalie Weiss of Unicornicopia, and produced by Bridget Regan (star of Disney-ABC’s LEGEND OF THE SEEKER) and Ian Pai (Co-Founder of Blue Man Group and Musical Director of Fischerspooner), this genre-mashing musical will be performed five times in the New York International Fringe Festival 2009.
With a live orchestra, sick beats by glitch hero Machinedrum and songs like “We All Need Jesus in Our Lives” and “Let’s Ride Bareback”, this nostalgic musical is super futuristic.
According to the Phillidelphia Inquirer, Bridget will be appearing in a new Neil Patrick Harris movie called The Best and the Brightest! Phillidelphia will stand in as New York for the movie and filming will start on Thursday, June 4 so Philly residents be on the lookout for our favorite girl!
Bridget talked to E! Online’s Spoiler Chat about upcoming stuff in the second season of Legend of the Seeker. In an effort to keep those of you who don’t want spoilers safe we’re going to hide it in a nice little collapsible box.
Playbill On Opening Night: Is He Dead? : Twain, Pretty In Pink by Harry Haun, December 10, 2007
This is a Playbill article on the play Is He Dead? Bridget made her Broadway debut in this play. Here is an excerpt in which she briefly discusses the play and her role in it:
Plus, she’s (Admin note: Jenn Gambatese, the actress who plays the heroine and also the sister of Bridget Regan’s character is referred to here) the only female in the cast who is spared facial hair. Bridget Regan is less lucky, playing her sister who turns mustache-twirling sleuth to sniff out the identity fraud going on in the play: “When I was first reading the script after I had been cast, I was reading my first scene as the inspector with Norbert. This is hysterical. It’s a man and a woman, and both of them are in drag, which is insane. Who’d think of this stuff? You have got to appreciate the love of drag in this show. It practically qualifies as a theme.”
Fresh out of North Carolina School of the Arts (Mary-Louise Parker Country), Regan is making her Broadway debut here.
