So what do you all think? Anyone read the book and have an opinion?
… at least as long as you understand that by news, I mean not much. As Bridget tweeted last month, she will be appearing in an episode of NCIS: Los Angeles entitled “Cyber Threat” set to air early in the hit show’s upcoming 3rd season. TV Lines’s Matt Webb Mitovich asked show runner Shane Brennan about Bridget’s guest appearance on the show and found that Bridget’s role is being kept under wraps. You can read the article here: http://www.tvline.com/2011/08/ncis-la-bridget-regan-secret-role/. If you guys do head over to TV Line, try to leave a comment so that the editors of the site know how much Bridget is loved and how much info on her is appreciated. That way we’ll hopefully get more Bridget news in the future.
Bridget will be at the Monte-Carlo TV Festival, which will be held from June 6-10, 2010 in Monaco. The link to the home page for the event can be found here: http://www.tvfestival.com/content/Home-page/home_pageuUK.php
And if anyone is going to this event, the Her Blue Eyes administrative team would be eternally grateful for a write up of the occasion! We’d post it here and you could be the envy of many! Thanks!

Camp Wanatachi is a spirit-soaked hormone-charged new musical comedy about two 13 year old girls who fall in love at Christian summer camp. Surrounded by an ensemble of eccentric characters, including a suicidal goth, a manic cheerleader, and a foxy counselor from the boys side, Titi and Jana learn that they can experience Jesus’ love through one another.

It showed up this morning in both my email and here in the comments, a news article saying that Bridget would portray Wonder Woman in Smallville both this season and next with the probability of the character being spun off onto it’s own show. (http://www.kryptonsite.com/news.htm). Before anyone panics, this is an April fools joke. However, it’s nice to know that people are paying attention to our fan efforts to get Bridget the role.
Well, Bridget made the list of Pop Crunch’s Top 50 Hottest Women of Sci-Fi/Fantasy. She comes in at #41. And while I’m sure many of us think she should be higher, it is an honor to be chosen when she’s on a relatively low-profile show, compared to things like the Star Wars movies and the recent Star Trek film. So, let’s be happy for her and thankful if this article gives Bridget and the show some more exposure!

More From PortraitDecember 3, 2009 4:59 pm
It appears that Bridget and Craig have other mentions in the latest Portrait. The first is that they are mentioned in the “Breakout Stars of ’09″ article. They are brought up near the bottom of the page. You can find that here: http://www.portraitmagazine.net/archives/breakout09.html
And, for our second tidbit, break out your voting mouse clicking fingers, folks. It’s the Portrait Choice Awards 2009. Bridget is nominated in the following categories: Best Female Television Performance, Breakthrough Female Performance and Best Dressed Female. And not to be outdone, even though this is technically a Bridget site, Craig has been nominated too, so let’s show him our support as well. He is nominated in the categories of Best Male Television Performance, Breakthrough Male Performance and Best Male Character for his portrayal of Richard Cypher. Let’s see if we can make them winners again! The voting can be found here: http://www.portraitmagazine.net/choiceawards.html
Thanks to Amanda for bringing this to our attention! Now let’s get voting!
Well, the results are in and, thanks to your votes, Bridget finished at #20! Not too bad! We’d like to thank everyone who voted, hopefully this will help out Bridget’s career and we’ll get to see even more of her in the future. There’s a little write-up about her along with the rest of the winners at the Portrait website here: http://www.portraitmagazine.net/archives/top302009.html
‘Seeker’ Star Found Spotlight
By Karla Peterson November 15, 2009
How does a thoroughly modern girl from sunny San Diego prepare to play a dagger-wielding, mind-controlling heroine from another TV dimension?
If you are “Legend of the Seeker” star Bridget Regan, it helps to start early.
“I was always quite determined,” the 27-year-old actress said. “Apparently, I wore white cowboy boots for a year straight when I was 5. My mom always said there was no arguing with me.”
She was born and raised in Carlsbad, and her parents still live there. But Regan spends nine months of the year in New Zealand shooting “Legend of the Seeker,” a fantasy drama now in its second season. The show airs locally on KSWB/Channel 69 (Cable 5).

TV Tidbits – MISSING SCHOOL: UNCSA GRAD CHERISHES EDUCATION
by Tim Clodfelter November 8, 2009
[HBE.com note: We've extracted just Bridget's part of the article, click the link at the end to read the entire thing.]
The new season of the syndicated series Legend of the Seeker starts tonight (7 p.m. on WMYV, channel 15), but for star Bridget Regan the season is already at the halfway mark.
Regan, a 2004 graduate of the UNC School of the Arts’ School of Drama, was in the States last week on a publicity jaunt to promote Seeker before returning to film the show’s 11th episode out of 22 that will be produced this season, the show’s second.
The series is a fantasy-adventure that is filmed in New Zealand. She plays Kahlan, an enigmatic warrior who fights the forces of evil alongside a young woodsman and a wizard. “I got to do a swordfight the other day, which was really cool,” Regan said in a phone interview.
