An interview with Bridget appears in the summer edition of Runway Magazine. It’s a nice blend of fashion and Legend of the Seeker and there are some REALLY nice black and white photos with it. Changes & Upgrades

As some of you all know, I’ve been threatening to retheme the site for a few months. I’ve been holding off because shortly after I had that brilliant idea Wordpress announced that they were working on Wordpress 3.0 and it would be released sometime around… well now. If you’ve never had the fun of internet programming, a major new version of a program usually screws up the old theme when you upgrade. As 3.0 promised to have several things that I wanted functionality wise I’ve been putting off the retheme until the new version came out. That brings us to now. 3.0 is out today and over the next week or so I’m going to be putting together our new theme and doing the upgrade and I’m looking for input from you all. Is there something you’d like the site to do that it doesn’t do currently? Maybe some spiffy thing that you saw on another site and thought, man I wish HBE did that! Let me know in the comments and I’ll see what I can do.

Winner of the Sexiest Woman of Fantasy Poll!

A few days back we posted about The Torch Online’s Sexiest Woman of Fantasy, 2009-2010 poll, and boy did you all vote! When I posted, Bridget’s Kahlan was in a dead heat with Tabrett Bethel’s excellent Cara but Kahlan pulled way ahead to win by 5% in the end. Doing a little math, or rather having my calculator do a little math, since around 4,700 votes were cast that means that 1,551votes were for Kahlan and that only 235 votes separated her and Cara. It’s apparently random statistics day here on HBE, I hope you’ve enjoyed it.

More Seeker Auctions

Eek, in the category of things I meant to stay on top of (but totally failed at) are all of the Legend of the Seeker auctions going on over on eBay. But as a white confessor dress has come up, I figured you all might be interested it. I totally confess to having dropped the ball when they auctioned off Kahlan’s black dress last week (sorry anyone who had well over $2,000 to spend on it). On a side note, I’m totally blown away by the prices some of this merchandise is fetching. Legend of the Seeker Props on eBay

Dayna, Bridget’s stunt double for Legend of the Seeker, went to a sale the studio had last week and bought a few props from the show and has put them up on eBay. The first item is the radahan Kahlen wore in the season one finale: http://item.ebay.com/230481766967

Questions for Bridget at the Monte Carlo Festival!

CineTVBuzz, a French TV & movie news site, wants your questions for Bridget! They’ve asked that we collect questions here on the site for them to use when they interview her at the Monte Carlo TV Festival next month. And, even better, these interviews are video taped and put up on YouTube for the world to see. So, what have you always wanted to as Bridget? Post a comment and let us know. We’ll be collecting questions from now until midnight (Eastern standard) on June 5th so you’ve got a week to think something up. Please note, they won’t use all the questions, there’s just not enough time I’m afraid. These are round table interviews meaning there is more then one journalist and they each get to ask a few questions. Below is last year’s interview with Tricia Helfer from Battlestar Galactica. It’s actually the second half but it starts out talking about her problems with constantly dying her hair which is a question we see asked often about Bridget and whether she’ll stay brunette or go back to red. This is one of the smaller, more intimate interviews. If you look on the site the interviews for Emily Deschanel (Bones) and David McCallum (NCIS) are held in a larger ballroom type setting. It’s a unique opportunity and I can’t wait to see what all you guys come up with.
