Rating for Unbroken: A. Season Two has been consistently great.

Zedd does a spell of undoing to “unbreak” Cara, but there are several unexpected consequences. Cara becomes a widowed schoolteacher (!!!) who is kind and gentle (very un-Cara), and she meets Leo again(nice) and falls for Leo again (even nicer).

Unfortunately, Darken Rahl gets the power of Orden and controls Richard, so Zedd and Kahlan have to undo Zedd’s undoing spell.

This was a romantic episode, with Kahlan getting married to Richard. That was satisfying. Even more, Kahlan gets pregnant. And as mentioned, Cara find love with Leo.

Too bad it can’t last, as Darken Rahl has the power of Orden. The cliffhanging ending was riveting. Can’t wait for the Season Two episode.

This episode belonged to Zedd and Kahlan.

Yeah I loved this episode. I am still hoping that Cara will find her way and side with Richard. “Tears” looks unbelievably good. I am both excited and sad for this final episode. Hopefully it will end well.

OMG. LOTS never fails to deliver the good. this episode is completely unexpected but i really like the twists. HAHA.

Cara, cried, so gentle and humane of her, this side of her is what i want to see more,(please don’t deprive me of that) Kahlan of course is stunning with that wedding dress, and Richard seemed to have a little bit of a haircut. LOL. epic fights as always, and Oh, R/K moments will always be remembered forever.Sweet.I wish they could have a real wedding! without a spell, as the cause, like it is their free will at work.

“tears” will seem to break my heart, but looking forward to this epic showdown.

I’m hoping I will watch the finale with the whole family.

    hope it will end well.

I loved it too! Truly epic this week – I wish it could’ve gone on longer. I hope if they go back to the real time, they remember some of the things that happened in the AU (Richard and Kahlan). I also hope Cara is saved, but if Leo somehow was too that would probably be too good to be true. They seem destined to be together only to be torn apart too soon. :(

All the wizards in full power and Kahlan confessing Dalia was amazing. My favorite was the lovely romantic scene and after when they knowingly said “Zedd” when they were interrupted, that made me smile. :)

    Next week: Con Dar

I loved the episode! It had so many twists and turns. I loved that it had Leo back again for Cara and the R/K were finally together. I hope the finale ends with a bang cause I’m going to miss this show. :(

I must be a dissenting opinion. With the exception of the filler “Creator” episode, almost all episodes this season have been excellent. But as the penultimate episode, I expected more and thought that “Unbroken” was rather weak and dull. One single spell changed everything that the season has been building up to; this felt rather cheating. I can only assume that this will all be reverted somehow, so a waste of time. If this had happened earlier in the season, then I suppose it may not have been so bad, but with only one more episode left, we will need to get back to the real story as well as resolve the rest of the events for this season. This seemed like an unnecessary detour so late in the season.

I LOVED this episode! Kahlan and Cara were great as always! I do not want to see ending of this AMAZING series we should not let them do it. Keep fighting Seeker fans! We need Legend of the Seeker with more seasons!

I thought the episode was really clever. I have to admit that after I read that spoiler last week about the spell, I was disappointed that the writers still weren’t brave enough to let them be together for real. But I was pleasantly surprised at how good the writing of this particular episode was. It didn’t seem like a gimmick at all to me; that is to say, it wasn’t just contrived as a reason for them to be together, then *POW* back apart at the end.

I liked that they brought Leo back, and how so much still stayed the same between him and Cara (although I was eagerly waiting for her to pounce on him again!).

My favorite scene easily was when Kahlan and Zedd were talking about reversing the spell – absolutely heart wrenching that she has to choose between their child and saving Richard. Bridget is so excellent in these types of scenes and this one was no exception. Also, her, “We’re going to find my husband!” was just awesome.

I have to add that Richard was so good looking in this one. I like the scruffiness but he’s been in the Palace for a year so you’d expect that he gets to have his hair cut and take a bath on a regular basis therefore he’d be clean and have a nice haircut. I don’t think he’s ever looked as good as he was in the scene when he’s in bed watching Kahlan wake up. The first cut of him smiling then the second cut with the bigger smile – the hair, the chest, the smile, the eyes. It’s all there, perfectly. :-) Kahlan was absolutely beautful in that scene, too. She has such a great smile. :-)

Looking forward to next week’s season finale!

    ***Spoilers***
Wow… just freakin WOW! That was a trip.
(I don’t watch previews so I don’t know whats coming, haven’t read peeps comments above for that reason.)

In Bizarro [nice] world with Orden intact, Darken was still a baneling, so that would have been wierd for Richard to put up with for a year.

I’m sad about Cara. I thought that she was playing reverse triple agent, but to find that she actually was broken (again), then to have her get killed (again)… boo hoo.

I wonder if Confessor power beats Orden (rock-paper-scissors style). Could a confessed person be controlled by Orden? Hmm…?

Oh and Richard got some Confessor lovin’ finally, and made a baby. Woohoo! (Bahm-chicha-bow-wow…)

This show is so rad. They are really hitting their stride this season. So good. Much love to all Seeker-maker-people. (Esp Tab; you rule babe.)

    Long Live The Seeker!

ACK! I didn’t get to see it! /panic WGN must’ve had a ballgame on or something. It didn’t record for me. $500 US to the first one to send me a DVD…..ok, not really. Still mad, tho.

  • By Dennis, May 17, 2010 @ 7:27 pm

Purplex: just get Netflix. Its like $6 a month and they have them all. You have to wait until Monday morning for it to be avail, but no biggie. I do it.

  • By Cait, May 17, 2010 @ 8:16 pm

  • By Deanna, May 19, 2010 @ 3:29 am

Me too Dani, I even felt a little choked up. They looked so happy and so in love.

  • By Yasir, May 19, 2010 @ 11:13 am

I guess I will learn to like the wedding in re-watches but just couldn’t seem to bring myself to enjoy the moment (as sweet as it was) knowing it’s not real…

  • By Snow White, May 19, 2010 @ 1:07 pm

This episode was so sweet. I really enjoyed it. I can’t help but feel sad though when I watch Seeker… I’m still holding my hopes up for season 3. Let’s keep fighting guys!

  • By klolop, May 19, 2010 @ 2:07 pm

Everything was great. I loved the episode. I just hope that they come out with a season 3 and that Cara is on the good side again

  • By Charlie Schmidt, May 19, 2010 @ 9:40 pm

One of the nice touches of Unbroken is getting a chance to see what Cara would have been like had she never been taken by the Mord-Sith. What a sweet woman this alternate Cara was. That woman is somewhere, deep inside Cara, just waiting for Kahlan, Richard and Zedd to coax her out.
