This episode is nothing short of AMAZING! My favorite this season by far. Finally some real Richard and Kahlan alone time.
By Pontus, May 8, 2010 @ 5:01 pm
Haha. I like what Em wrote. Well I don’t like to spoil but Cara wont betray Richard, atleast she doesn’t do that in the books. Cara becomes a very good friend with Richard, Kahlan and Zedd
By Snow White, May 8, 2010 @ 6:27 pm
I loved this episode! Amazing!
A+ rating again, and I have to agree with Em. =)

Eternity was one of the absolute best episodes I have ever seen. It was amazing. Just when you think it can’t get any better it does. Richard and Kahlan was able to spend some alone time together. YEAH! Cara and Zedd was in a really bad situation. Couldn’t believe what happened. Here Cara has grown so much as a person this season because of Richard, Kahlan, and Zedd. Regaining her humanity and compassion. Cant wait to see the rest of the episodes leading up to the season finale. AWESOME and BEST show Legend of the Seeker.

Oh my GAWD! What the hell did I just watch! I’m choking. Too much, peeps, too much…!! This ep just effing rocked the house with awesomeness. Cara… oh Cara…
This was the best ep yet, of the best show on TV. Love it.

loved it … cant preorder Season 2 in germany ;(

This one was good. I really liked it, but it wasn’t as good as last week’s in my opinion. The fast forward and rewind buttons were used this week.
Richard and Kahlan got some alone time. That’s where the fast forward came in. Unpopular opinion, I know, but they’re gonna give me diabetes.
The real meat of the story was with Zedd and Cara. Especially Cara… and Dahlia. That was the rewind, over and over. Seriously, Cara was full of surprises in this episode. I’m really gonna miss Tabrett when the show’s over.
Asa and the first generation, or whatever they were called, got on my nerves. The guy was just weird. I wonder if they were supposed to be based on the Bandakar people (I haven‘t read that book yet, but I’ve read about them).
All in all, it was a good Cara-centric episode.
Oh yeah… they finally found the Stone.

Rating for Eternity: A
Another solid episode. It was romantic when Richard and Kahlan spent some time alone. And look how Kahlan sacrificed herself by letting go so that Richard could continue his mission.
It was shocking to see that Cara had been broken. That doesn’t sound like Cara. Somehow, it seems like Cara isn’t broken and is merely playing along with Darken Rahl.
And the revelation that Cara had a baby with Darken Rahl (!!!) and then that Darken killed the baby (!!!) was stunning.
LotS keeps coming up with lots of surprises. What an epic season.
By Yasir, May 9, 2010 @ 8:30 am
Finally we good Richard and Kahlan alone together, can’t remember the last time it happened for an entire episode. There were also a lot of good things for Cara fans in this episode.
It looks like Richard is finally figuring out that he is already confessed.
As much as I loved this episode it did make me think that only two more to go this season…
By Suzanne, May 9, 2010 @ 9:10 am
The episode wasn’t short on action, but one thing stuck in my mind, and that was the gullibility of Richard, Kahlan and Zedd to believe Dahlia’s story. Mord-Sith aren’t known for their love of life, so it occurred to me that Dahlia’s story about Cara’s son was bogus. From the start, I thought she was leading Cara into a trap. And with Darken still alive, the others should have been more aware. Hmmmm. Ah, well. Cara helped make the episode a great one and a shocker.
By Sarah, May 9, 2010 @ 10:03 am
I liked this episode a lot, and loved the preview. 2×21 is the one Bridget said is gonna make us flip. I’m glad to finally see Kahlan being acknowledged for once. She’s kind of important, along with Richard. I’m sick of seeing Cara (another unpopular opinion). I resent Cara’s gratuitous shock value scenes when there actually is real story involving Richard and Kahlan to resolve. It’s almost the season (series?) finale.
About their gillibility…if you watch their faces when Dahlia’s out of hearing they’re anything but trusting of her. But it was Richard’s faith in Cara and Kahlan’s inability to read them that led to team Seeker having a 4th member. They simply believed in Cara, and asked what she thought.
By Yasir, May 9, 2010 @ 8:46 pm
@Sarah
Unfortunately that’s one of the drawbacks of having 4 leads in the show rather than 3 last season. It was also easier to send Zedd on his merry way and focus on Richard and Kahlan as they did in season 1 finale.
Personally I’m all about Richard and Kahlan and I can’t even remember the last time they were alone together before this episode. I guess there are a lot of Cara fans out there who want even more of her in the show.
By Em, May 9, 2010 @ 9:00 pm
Did anyone else think that the music for this episode was superior? Especially in the scene where Kahlan and Richard first see the stone of tears.
By jc, May 9, 2010 @ 10:49 pm
the music was great..
i think the music when they see the stone was used in episode 3 [broken] where the school teacher was explaining the truth about cara’s dad;; nonetheless a great soundtrack
By Purplexion, May 9, 2010 @ 10:52 pm
I have two words….OH MY
4 more words….BEST EPISODE THIS SEASON (and not cause of the girl/girl kissing) =)
I can’t wait for the next two hours and I’m quite pissed that will be it. Tribune programmers DIAF (ok, maybe just roll around in poison ivy)
By Sparty, May 10, 2010 @ 1:03 am
W-o-w! Great episode.
@Sarah: I was thinking the same thing about Bridget and the next episode. I wonder if it has anything to do with the preview where we see her in a bed wrapped in sheets.
I really can’t wait for the next episode, just sad though that it’s coming to an end.
Possible spoiler (I’m just putting 2 & 2 together from clues, so it doesn’t mean it’s true.):

I also remember Bridget tweeting about Con Dar around episode 6 or 7 so maybe we’ll see that too. Plus over at The Seeker’s Omnibus, there is a video of them practicing stunts which also makes me believe this.
By deanna, May 10, 2010 @ 7:17 am
Loved this episode, especially the interaction between Richard and Kahlan. Bridget and Craig play these scenes so wonderfully.
One prophesy down, one to go. Series 2 will end amazingly, I’m certain and now that Terry Goodkind has officially announced he’s joining the campaign for season three, I’m sure we have a chance for this amazing show to continue.
By Em, May 10, 2010 @ 9:04 am
@Sparty: Bridget also tweeted about a dress fitting and said hint = pretty. Have we seen that dress yet? Could it be a wedding dress?
By Dani, May 10, 2010 @ 9:49 am
I loved that episode! I’m so glad we finally get some Richard and Kahlan ALONE time! AMAZING chemistry =)
By Patricia, May 10, 2010 @ 10:22 am
I agree; their chemistry is just so amazing. They are so convincing as two people in love. I think it so easily could get pretty sappy but Bridget and Craig don’t go there and they keep it very sincere and genuine.
I’m so glad Richard and Kahlan finally had a conversation about being together. It was long overdue. And, I hope, a good sign of things to come!
The previews and Bridget’s earlier comments about ep21 have me excited for next week!
By Patricia, May 10, 2010 @ 11:57 am
Also…
Bridget also tweeted about fighting (and getting to kill) her mentor. I assumed that was in the last two eps, too.
I’ll be watching for him.
By Alex, May 10, 2010 @ 3:55 pm
i have a question….. are all of the mord siths bisexual? Im not saying theres anything wrong with that but it seems like everytime they have a scene they’re making out. Anyways this was a really awesome episode and i will cry a heck of a lot on the last episode of season 2.
By Yasir, May 10, 2010 @ 5:06 pm
@Alex
Regarding your question, if you are talking about the show specifically than the mord-sith are sort of depicted as bisexual although Denna wasn’t that way, at least not what we saw of her.
****** BOOK SPOILER ALERT ****************
In the books mord-sith are just women, their sexuality has nothing to do with their training, some of them are portrayed as lesbians, others like Denna and Cara are shown as straight by TG (yes Cara is not bi-sexual in the books).
By Pontus, May 10, 2010 @ 5:20 pm
Haha, this episode was tight! Neat! Damn, already watched it 4 times over and over. This show is sick! Love it, definetly going to read the books!
By Sparty, May 10, 2010 @ 6:10 pm
@Patrcia: I think the one you are talking about already happened a couple of episodes back regarding her mentor. I think she was refering the stunt coordinator and he was in an episode playing a lead guard.
By Sparty, May 10, 2010 @ 6:21 pm
Just saw a picture from one of the coming up episodes and all I can say is W-o-w. Now it’s got me thinking and trying to figure something out.
By c.j., May 10, 2010 @ 8:38 pm
Awesome episode, her falling off the cliff was heart breaking. This series would be a total shame to be canceled.
By Jude, May 11, 2010 @ 4:33 am
SPOILER
has anyone else seen the photo release for next week? Can it be we will actually get want we have been wanting since series 1 ep 1??!! Sure looks like it. Bridget said we would flip and she was right.
As much as people say they have not kept to the books, the essence and heart of the books is in every episode. They don’t take the exact route but they get where they are supposed to go.
By loise, May 11, 2010 @ 8:22 am
I almost believed Cara was unbroken. what an epi, always EPIC. Beautiful K/R moments, I always smile and feel pretty good! hahaha.
come on, this show is beyond awesome!!!
By Patricia, May 11, 2010 @ 9:56 am
@Sparty Oh! Thanks. I guess I need to pay closer attention, don’t I.
By Patricia, May 11, 2010 @ 10:00 am
OMG, just saw the pics for next week….we are definitely going to flip!! The one thing that makes me wonder though is:
SPOILER
Zedd’s reaction. Hmmmmm….
By Cait, May 11, 2010 @ 10:32 am
I recognized the music was used too in Broken when Richard and Kahlan saw the stone. I am hoping in the final episodes, Cara will be back on Richards side. I did enjoy this episode though.
By Sparty, May 11, 2010 @ 12:32 pm
@Patricia: Those pictures have the wheels in my turning because if you look closely to details in the pictures, something is clearly off.
By Jude, May 11, 2010 @ 3:15 pm
@sparty ah yeh like Rahl as master of ceremonies. It better be for real

one of the season best. very good.
By Flip, May 14, 2010 @ 9:43 am
Still crying over spilled milk…
The new show “V” started with a 6 episode pilot and had fairly good ratings (like LOTS did in the first 4-5 episodes). It is resigned and has a 10PM (9PM central) time slot. Perfect for that type show and it would have been for LOTS.
I am under the impression LOTS had to cross a bar that was FAR higher than other non-syndicated shows. The 4-5PM time slot on Sat. is death-wish for a show like LOTS, I always felt that.
Was it Raimi arrogance and the networks playing politics? Enquiring minds want to know…
My guess the actors are not overally heart broken as they constantly complained of “being out of the loop”. I can not blame them I guess.
By ravenwood, May 14, 2010 @ 2:09 pm
I know Darken has always been a merurial moods, but why would he let Cara go through 9 months of pregnacy only to kill their baby? It sounds like a waste of a Mord Sith’s time and talents. If there’s a Season 3 there should be a plot twist where there’s a Walter flashback. Maybe Walter and Malroy saved the baby and brought it to a simple shepherdess to raise — only the simple sheperdess turns out to be Shota!
By Lindsey, May 14, 2010 @ 9:21 pm
@ravenwood I’d imagine it’s because if the child was a girl she could be a Mord Sith or the child could wind up like Jensen and either way it could be an asset. Part of this goes back to the books, I think, and the fact that there is ancient magic tying the D’Harans to the Lord Rahl. I’m racking my brain but I don’t think they ever mention the Lord Rhal ever being a woman or if there would be anything different/special about a female Rhal aside from Jensen.
By Yasir, May 15, 2010 @ 7:35 am
@Lindsey
I think what we do know from the books is that the Lord Rahl wants a son who has the gift of magic and can continue the Rahl bloodline with it. There was never any mention of it being female but that’s mostly because Darken Rahl and his father before him didn’t think very highly of the opposite sex. There was a different reason why Darken Rahl would kill all his other off springs in the books and had to do with the Pillars of creation…
In any case it doesn’t equate fully in the show since what we know from season 1 is that Darken Rahl did want a confessor son and yet wasn’t worried about him growing up to challenge his powers (which did happen I might add) and yet he killed Cara’s son just in case he might have. What happened in Reckoning can’t be used as a reason since that future never came into being from Darken Rahl’s perspective…
By kristine, May 17, 2010 @ 9:08 pm
i think i’ll agree with Em and Pontus, pretty sad for Cara betraying Richard, but i know that she can’t do that…the season2 finale is getting nearer..
