Definitely not enough R & K, but for those who like Darken Rahl, it was a good ep. Craig Parker did a great job playing two characters. Wasn’t my favorite and don’t know if it will capture any new audience, but sounds like it is a build up to the last ep of the season. So hopefully, like the books, you have to endure some of the back stories to get to the good stuff!!!!

There was one cute little K&R moment. As they were leaving the bar with the food, he slid his arm around her waist and drew her toward him. It was really fast.
Not a huge moment, but it was a really good one.

Walter was a comedy episode with Darken Rahl providing the humor. Rating: Another A. Darken is back in the Midlands and sure to cause the Seeker more trouble.
Craig Parker did a humorous turn as Walter, and the episode had a happy ending. This was a nice, quirky episode.

Enjoyed the episode. Craig Parker and Katrina Law were great. One of the guards outside Walters cell was also in the room during Kahlan’s first Con Dar. I, too, believe in recycling.

But what really caught my attention was the preview after the show. It was when Richard and Darken Rahl were fighting together.
I was in a state of shock.
And now, I really want to see the next episode! And the coming ones!

Scenes with the Craigs together are always awesome. They were well cast as brothers, I think, even though they don’t look alike. Craig Parker was great – I’ve heard he didn’t think he could pull of an American accent. I enjoyed this one even though I’m looking forward to the next one more.
I loved that little scene too, Patricia

I liked this one. I thought Craig Parker did a fantastic job playing the cowardly, dorky guy. (side note: I have to say I was disappointed to find out he’s in that show called Spartans on the Starz channel as sexually-oriented as it is.)
Best part was Cara stepping in to kill the guy while he was sniveling. Classic.
The slave girl’s (whoever the actress is)performance was not real believable to me. I thought it was pretty bad actually.
Looking forward to seeing what kinda twists Darken is going to add now that’s he’s flesh again.
As said last week, MORE Kahlan! The show rests on her shoulders even more than Richard’s, in my opinion.

Oh, forgot.
Did anyone else think that slave girl looked like Ally Sheedy’s daughter? Looks just like her.

Again not enough Kahlan & Cara for my liking but I’m still giving it an A.
Wasn’t sure how they were going to explain Darken Rahl coming back to life when his body was burnt to a cinder.
Writers did a pretty good job with this ep and gave Craig Parker a good opportunity to show off his talents.
I’m used to seeing great emotional performances from the regular cast so I agree that the slave girls performance was a bit stiff. On the other hand Katrina did a great job as the mord sith.

Purplexion, I thought the slave girl looked like Ally Sheedy, too – the way she looked when she was younger, the “Breakfast Club” look.
Craig Parker was so good in this ep. He is so funny. His American accent was just whiny enough and he switched over to his Darken Rahl British accent without missing a beat. And, may I add, he’s got a pretty good chest, too.

The Walter episode was brilliant! I felt so sorry for the maid Mika when Walter was transformed into a simple soldier at the end instead of the regal, ravishing Rahl look-a-like she had fallen for. No amount of gold would have consoled me, that’s for sure! (It also would have been great if Walter had stayed longer to double the viewer’s pleasure at home). Bravo!

Agreed, definitely not enough Richard and Kahlan but still a good episode. I’m liking the whole cross-over actors between LotS and Spartacus.

It’s hard for me to watch since I know it’s the end

But I liked this episode. Craig did a wonderful job, as did the rest of the cast.
I totally agree with Charlie, A rating – 18 hits in a row!
@Sarah and Patricia – The Richard and Kahlan moments are so tender. Love them!

This was a fun show. B+.
But really… Darken has had access to the Sisters of the Dark, the Mord-Sith, and Walter, right from the moment he was killed in season 1. Why did he wait until now to come back to life? (We need to pull this trick with The Show and bring it back from out of Disney’s *** where they’ve decided it put it.)
Not enough Cara in this Ep, but she did steal ever scene she was in.
I’m going to get back to writing letters to Save Seeker.
Go here to very easily write an email to EVERBODY at Disney-ABC. Be polite, but passionate.

One question: After he was resurrected, why did Darken Rahl lie at the mord-sith temple when the mord-sith (Katrina) asked which mord sith had aided Tyra, the sister of the dark, during the resurrection ritual? “What mord-sith did you find to administer the breath of life?” “I was revived by Tyra, who had the foresight to kill a mord-sith and take her Han. It appears you and your sisters are not as indispensable as you think.” I’d appreciate your ideas and theories on this one…
