It showed up this morning in both my email and here in the comments, a news article saying that Bridget would portray Wonder Woman in Smallville both this season and next with the probability of the character being spun off onto it’s own show. (http://www.kryptonsite.com/news.htm). Before anyone panics, this is an April fools joke. However, it’s nice to know that people are paying attention to our fan efforts to get Bridget the role.

    When I first read the article I have to say that I panicked!!!!…….even though I do believe that Bridget deserves many roles in the future (and different ones too…..I really liked her when she is funny and plays a less serious part…..in Mirrors for example I thought she was great) I have grown so addicted to Kahalan that at the moment I am just hoping to see her in this series for as long as possible :P

    LOVE the prank! For about ten seconds I was April’s Biggest Fool! Then I read on a little father and ‘nyuk nyuk nyuk’. Touche! Had a nice little ride on the ceiling fan. Although, what a way to send off Smallville’s last season but with the talents of our beloved little Bridgey. Alas, I can see Chiara’s point, she would be awesome in WW as long as the storyline didn’t stifle Bridgey’s range which everyone can see is enormous. And Bridget’s Kahlan is so perfect it’s iconic. What a talent!

    Is there really a musical episode coming up this season? That will be so cool. Can’t wait to hear the Mother Confessor tearfully sing about the call of her heart. And marvel at the image of Zedd, the Seeker and Darken’s ghost tap out a jaunty softshoe…. If not in this season hopefully in seasons 3 to 11. Yes, I said eleven. Eleven books — eleven seasons. PowersThatBe don’t make me come down there, grrr!

    I love this show because it’s out the door, around the corner and into the woods batsh*t crazy! A musical episode makes sense. Kahlan could sing a love song and coo to the night wisps, Zedd could sing zip-a-dee-doo-dah while blasting banelings and Cara could sing about feelings.

    At first i panicked when i read this, then i thought great bridget would be wonder women in her own spin off and also in some episodes of Smallville. Than i saw it was an aprils fool and my heart sank only to be lifted again to know that Kahlan would still be around. what a way to toy with my emotions :p
