A longtime fan of our site has sent us a Kahlan poem! Gotta love fan contributions!
This is told from Richard’s perspective during the episode Fury.
It is the same old loneliness,
Hasn’t changed a bit
It is the same old sundown,
Over the mountains
To the horizon of the ocean;
It is the love we share desperately
My love has the color of your eyes
My hopes like your hair;
Scattered by the wind
I don’t need a hint to find love
I know it found it.
Beside you I have the wings of an angel
Beside you I share the world
It is like heaven
It is called KAHLAN.

That’s a nice poem. Just a suggestion: Shouldn’t the last line be “She is called Kahlan” rather thatn “It is called Kahlan”?
The poem is correct in that Kahlan is heavenly.

agree with charlie, on the other hand;
i think the last line tells me that he feels she means a whole world to him. that is Kahlan. And agree she is heavenly.

Mmm, can’t say anything. Just like rhyme more.
About the last line. I think he used “it” because he describes his feelings to this woman. And it may be like:
It feels like heaven
It is (This feeling is) called Kahlan.
Don’t know, how much it’s correct in English, never wrote something like this. And it’s only my suggestion.

I don’t know anything about poetry except for whether I like it or not. I liked it very much. You’ve got a real talent, and it’s a sweet tribute to Kahlan.
