@Charlie No worries, it's not the first time, and I'm sure it won't be the last time. :) The last group who thought I was a guy were funny to talk to because they'd seen the Gay For Kahlan picspams and still hadn't put 2 and 2 together in regards to my use of the word ‘gay’ hahaa!

Re Seekers of Love: I cried with laughter for a good 10 minutes. The showrunners know exactly how we read the series and are playing it to the max. A+!

@Dennish Ha, I'm just thrilled that other people see the same <strike>shamless raunchiness</strike> humour in Seeker that I do.

Spoiler:
summaries of future episodes
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Legend_of_the_Seeker_episodes

From Eonline:
Season two of the syndicated fantasy series Legend of the Seeker has seriously taken things up a notch (all while keeping dastardly but dead hottie Craig Parker employed as Darken Rahl, no less!), and we are positively dying to know what happens next in the Midlands, so we dialed up show runner Ken Biller for the exclusive scoop on the remainder of season two.

Here's what we learned about the episodes to come, including the significance of Richard Cypher's (Craig Horner) detour from the throne, how Kahlan Amnell's (Bridget Regan) burden as the last Confessor could tear her away from the Seeker, and the magical loophole that might allow them to finally have some forbidden sex...

Richard Cypher, the Seeker of Truth: "Richard is confronted with whether or not he made the right decision by turning down the throne of D'hara. Would it have been better decision for him to take power and try to seize control of an army to follow him and help him in his quest? In the books, at the beginning of the second book Richard is the Lord Rahl—he has taken the throne of D'hara—but we thought it was not as interesting for us to tell a story about a guy who was already a king. You want to have characters who have less power and more obstacles."

Impossible Sex Becomes Possible? "The show is sexier this year. We have two characters who have discovered that they were in love, but because of the natural conundrum that they are in, the sexual part of their relationship has been forbidden to them. It's an interesting challenge to make sexy what, by its nature, has to be a chaste relationship. I will tell you that that we have not seen the last time where circumstances create the conditions by which these two characters may in fact be able to fulfill their sexual desires for each other."

Kahlan Amnell, the Mother Confessor: "Throughout season two, Kahlan's struggles with this incredible responsibility of being the last Confessor. Specifically, she struggles with how to continue the line of Confessors while remaining true in her love to Richard. Also, her responsibilities as a Confessor may be compromised by her desire to continue the quest with Richard—she questions whether or not she's continuing on because of her personal feelings for him or because that's the right thing to do."

The Sisters of the Light and the Sisters of the Dark: "Jolene Blalock is sexy and fantastic in two episodes that are part of a big arc in January. She plays a very mysterious character called Sister Nicci. We don't know for a while if we should trust her or not. Richard begins to manifest powers and abilities that he didn't know he had, and in order to deal with those, he has to separate from the group. He goes off with the Sisters of the Light to a place called the Palace of the Prophets. I'm very excited for the audience to see the episodes about the Sisters of the Light and the Sisters of the Dark. It's very intriguing mythology that gets at the heart of whether or not Richard is going succeed on his quest and whether or not he's the master of his own fate. I think the show kind of gets better and better as the season goes on. Right after Christmas we have a really terrific run of really exciting episodes."

Cara, Freelance Hottie and Mord'Sith: "We'll see Cara's unfolding humanity. She's a severely damaged woman who was robbed of her childhood, a sense of compassion and empathy for other people. But slowly, over the course of time, she is learning how to engage in the most basic of human interaction. It's a source of pain for her, humor for her, trouble for her, but it gives us a lot of story material. Also, we'll see that Cara and Kahlan become very grudging allies. They don't particularly like or trust each other, but their relationship evolves in a very interesting way, as they get to know each other better and have more experiences together."

Zombie Madness: "One of our characters during the course of the season will in fact die and become a baneling, I won't tell you who or how."
Eek! Who do you think is going to die? And what else do you want to see from season two?

@adrock.....much better idea than what they have going, fer sure...but what do I know?? Are we the standard type fans? I assume we are as the Seeker of Love is getting zip level of interest.

hmmm what type of contest?? The easier the more you get..name, rank and serial number maybe?

@Charlie...it must be satisfying for them to enter the break on a high note.

Was in off-broadway section in NYC the other night. Cool area...I went to a jazz club there though. Some amazing old buildings.

The Website www.TVByTheNumbers.com has reported ratings for FURY as an all-time high for Season 2, as follows:

Legend of the Seeker fans, the show’s sixth episode (from the weekend of Dec-12-13) didn’t make the top 25, but its 2.671 million average viewers was a season high and up almost 400,000 from the previous week and about around 90,000 higher than the season two premiere which had previously been the season’s high

That's gratifying to see that LotS is starting to take off.

@Dennis -- I wasn't complaining that your manner offends me. To each his own. I simply meant that even if we don't agree, we can still get along and have such debates.

And I suppose I agree about stereotypes starting somewhere, but I'm still hesitant to perpetuate their use myself because unless I've met these people or know ANY kind of information about them, who am I to judge?

Sadly, stereotypes usually boil down to a few idiots who make others with similar traits look bad. That we can agree on. ...I think. Haha. You'll have to let me know.

Flip, a contest to win a trip to NZ to be an extra = great prize. But what's the contest? The video dating idea is a flop IMO.

I seem to recall hearing that Trek Next Gen could/would openly accept completed scripts from fans, and used them. Maybe LotS could open the gates to fan submissions, in contest format? (LotS is a linear story, unlike Trek, but they could always toss in a random Ep like Elixer.)

When the Blu-Ray comes out, they could have 5 specially marked discs that wins you a trip for two to NZ, etc.

If they got paired up with some food item (Coke, etc), under each specially marked cap is a letter; the first to spell S-E-E-K-E-R wins. That type of thing.

In the off season they ought to have the cast do some promo tours. Imagine your local renaissance festival with a guest appearance in costume. They'd sell out.

@Chris, thank you for not pulling my comment this time. And you are very right in that BR and we fans owe the staff of LotS praise for their good work. And we should pay them as the free market allows us to: watch their show, buy products from their advertisers, buy LotS merchandise/DVD when available. ... I too think a proper forum on here would be apropos. Then I could continue to the the paparika in your goulash, with perhaps less fear of my eloquent posts being pulled. :)

@Bill, sorry if my brusque manner continues to offend. But you know that stereotypes are based upon truthful generalities, and where there are no generalizations, there's no wisdom. So if people want to avoid being stereotyped, then they should stop being one. Ergo my comment that the "Love" contest just adds to the fantasy stereotype, thereby marginalizing LotS. I thought it was obvious to everyone that of the 12 people who participate in that promo, all 12 would be male, never had a girlfriend (the girl in their WoW guild doesn't count), they have an authorized authentic replica of the One Ring of Power, and they think that if they were to win that contest they'd have a real chance to score with the Mother Confessor.

And if any of you on here were among those 12, I'm sorry that the bright light of truth hurts the eyes.
