Slice of Sci Fi Interview Voting
November 16, 2009 7:52 pm

Slice of Sci Fi is taking a winter hiatus and playing encore performances. They’ve put up a list of their interviews and you can vote for which one you want to hear again. Bridget’s interview is one of the interviews on the list. So let’s see if we can get her into the top four! It doesn’t say when the voting closes but they’re replaying the interviews in December, so there’s not a whole lot of time!

The poll is found here: http://www.sliceofscifi.com/2009/11/16/which-slice-of-scifi-interviews-would-you-like-to-hear-again/

    Bridget 61…next person 7 HA!!!

    FYI….
LOTS came in last year with 5.8m views for episode 1, putting it in the top 10..easily. Later episodes cam in at 4-5m. Very respectable, and hence a season 2.
In the few days should be their opener numbers for season 2 (coming out today). If over 5m again I would expect a season 3 a done deal. THis is fun stuff to research.

Legend of the Seeker season two premiere averages 2.58 million viewers

Posted on 18 November 2009 by Robert Seidman

The season two premiere of Legend of the Seeker averaged 2.583 million viewers the weekend of November 7-8 with a 1.7 household rating. By household rating it was ranked tied for 45th out of 129 syndicated shows measured for the week.

The 2.583 million was the average audience, but you might wind up seeing the number 3.528 million thrown around, too. That’s the gross average audience for the premiere. Gross average audience is a metric commonly used in syndicated ratings where viewing of repeat broadcasts during the measured period *is* counted. But for apples-to-apples purposes of comparing to other shows you should use the 2.583 million number.

indeed. More Bridget :) , no problem

Those aren’t bad ratings. I wouldn’t be worried. A show won’t retain all it’s original viewers, so those numbers are pretty much what we should expect. The fact that they’re ranked 45 out of 129 is a better way to look at it, so they’re ok. :) (But more Bridget is fine too.)

@Sarah. I guess you are right. Certainly this show is a lot more expensive than a talk show or sitcom but I guess I was disappointed the ratings were less than 1/2 last year. So it is a profit margin thing too, I assume. I thought they might have expanded…but I certainly do not claim to have any background here.

LOTS is on Saturday night at 5PM for me. I have NEVER watched it at that time, opting for other things. So I watch it on Hulu or You Tube (mythhero7 on you tube has them in high def.). But I am starting to record it at different times and different stations….this should boost ratings too. HA!! But god I hate ads….sorry Bridget, ads can be truly painful to watch.

BTW…if you read the comments on the bottom of the link I posted the author explains more about the results too (as concurs with you). LOTS hit a 1.1 last season (versus here was 1.7)…but then again they have a lot of new actors versus a one Bruce Willis type sucking up all the revenue for one actor.

    LOTS needs a better time slot..Sunday at 8PM would help :-) ))))

Bridget I see is a Rainn Wilson fan…I do love The Office and him on it.
