Chris and I would like to take a moment to note the passing of one of Bridget’s Legend of the Seeker co-stars, Joy Watson. Joy played the older version of Shota in the episodes Reckoning and Identity. She died as the result of a car crash in the UK where she was attending a WWII evacuee reunion. Aside from missing her on the show, she sounds as though she led a wonderful life and our condolences go out to her family.

This is sad news. Not only was she a fine character actor, but the context of her passing reveals that she lived through some of the most remarkable events of the 20th century. This brings home once again the fragility and profound value of human life. Condolences to those who knew and worked with her.

I saw this in my email and was in shock! She was a good actor/character on LotS.
