***Update 3/9*** As has been reported on various outlets, Legend of the Seeker isn’t dead yet. (E! Online, Techland, & The Torch Online) However, this doesn’t mean that the show is safe by any means. We still need to keep writing to ABC Studios and our local Legend of the Seeker stations. I really can’t stress enough how important sending in physical letters is. I know we’re all passionate about the show, but PLEASE be nice and calm in your messages! Antagonizing stations with hate mail really isn’t going to do us any good. Also, after much discussion we’ve all decided that the persimmons might have been a bit much at this stage. So as much as we loved the idea and appreciate everything that Nuts Online did for us, we’re no longer suggesting people send in persimmons. To those of you who already sent your persimmons, that’s fabulous! Thank you so much for your commitment to the show. While the few persimmons that were ordered won’t hurt the show, we’re just afraid that massive amounts might. We’ll keep the the idea in reserve though in case we really it at a later date.

***Update 2/26*** As tweeted this morning, there’s yet to be a decision about Season 3. What does this mean for us? Keep writing! I’m told that a decision might not get made until May and EVERY letter counts! Also, if you’re going to write a letter to ABC Studios please don’t write Legend of the Seeker on the envelope, it causes the mail to be delivered to the LotS writing team instead of anyone with decision power over Legend of the Seeker. To further that end, when you address your letter address it to ABC Studios, not Legend of the Seeker. That way your Save the Seeker letter is sure to get to the right person.

In an effort to make everything easier to find, we’ve streamlined, so please use the links below to find what you are looking for and help us Save the Seeker!

Want to see a third season of Legend of the Seeker starring our very own Bridget Regan? We all need write into our local Seeker showing stations (ah, alliteration) and ABC/Disney to let them know that we want more of the show. Syndicated shows, like LotS, are only on the air as long as stations are buying them so writing to your local (or not so local if you’re so inclined) station and letting them know you love the show would really help. According to Mike, written letters are better then email! Writting to ABC is just as important, if not more so, then writing to your local station. Please be respectful and polite in your message, it really does make a difference. Running your message through spell check so it looks all nice and shiny couldn’t hurt either.

Exclusive Interview: Bridget Regan Answers Fan Questions (Legend of the Seeker), Part I
By Ian Spelling March 8, 2010

You had lots and lots (and lots) of questions for Bridget Regan and, as promised, the lovely leading lady of Legend of the Seeker has taken the time to reply to 20-plus of them.  We at TVStar.com think you’ll agree that her answers are by turns fun, serious and informative — and this is only part one of our exclusive interview.

By the way, congratulations to TVStar.com reader Balaamsdonkey, whose very funny and observant question was chosen by Bridget as one of the two best submitted and who wins the first of our autographed photos of Bridget.  So here goes part one of the interview and be on the lookout for both part two and our second winner of a Bridget Regan-signed picture.

The first-ever scene in Legend of the Seeker shows you riding a horse through a beautiful countryside, chased by ugly D’Harans.  I think it drew a lot of people into the show.  When you shot it, did you know that scene was, in a sense, going to introduce the show and could possibly make or break it?  How much pressure did you feel shooting that scene? (darkbahamut88)

Maybe it was a bit daunting.  I knew that it was the first time the audience would meet Kahlan…meet MY Kahlan.  The script said, “a fierce warrior of stunning  and great courage.”  Needless to say, I had fallen in love with her, and I wanted to do her right.  Do her justice.  But in the last moment, I had to let that go.  (I had to) concentrate on getting to the boundary and finding (Richard) and putting the book in his hands…and cantering in a corset for the first time and not falling on my bum.

A Note on Panic
March 5, 2010 at 3:13 pm

Hey guys, we’ve been seeing a lot of panic in our comments, our inboxes, and around the web. ABC/Disney hasn’t made any decision yet about renewing Legend of the Seeker and it’s not over till they say it’s over… and maybe not even then.

I know that those of you who have emailed Tribune are getting back letters saying that the show has been canceled, but that isn’t correct. What they should be saying is that they have decided not to purchase a third season. Nothing says we can’t try and change their mind.

What all of this means for us is that we should keep writing (and sending persimmons) to Tribune, ABC, and our local Seeker showing stations. As always, actual physical letters are better then email. I know we’re all passionate about the show but please be nice and courteous in your letters. Let them know that you love the show and you’d hate to see it go. Also, buying the show on on DVD and iTunes is a WONDERFUL way to show your support as those numbers are closely watched.

At this point, ABC isn’t shopping Legend of the Seeker around to other networks so writing to SyFy or other stations isn’t really going to do us any good. If that changes we’ll let you know but there’s no point in wasting our resources on something that won’t help us.

New look for the cast in Season 2, Episode 13, “Princess.” Bridget mentioned that this was a very fun episode and so did Tabrett in an interview. Have fun posting your thoughts here!

New Zealand Fan Mail Address Update
February 23, 2010 at 7:19 pm

A few days ago Bridget tweeted an address for her in New Zealand. Since then the tweet has been deleted and it’s lead to several questions about weather or not the address is valid or should be used. Turns out, my previous caution was correct. After contacting Bridget’s management they told me that Bridget is shooting in New Zealand until the end of March. After that, she’s coming back to the states. As it can take up to two weeks for mail to get from the US to anyplace overseas your best bet, at least until filming on season 3 starts up, is to use the Encinitas PO Box.

Season 2 Episode 12 “Hunger” Discussion
February 20, 2010 at 11:37 am

We continue our discussions with Season 2’s 12th episode, “Hunger.” Looks like it could be very interesting. Share your thoughts with us!

Another Fan Mail Address
February 16, 2010 at 9:41 pm

Bridget Tweeted a fan mail address, a different one than we already had, and it’s in New Zealand. She requests that people include an 8×10 envelope if they wish to receive a picture back! She says mailing her in New Zealand will make sure it gets to her quicker. Thanks, Bridget!

As of this writing, Legend of the Seeker is (according to recent interviews) shooting episode 20. The first season had 21 episodes. We have absolutely no idea if Bridget intends to remain in New Zealand during the show’s hiatus. To be safe, I’d only use the New Zealand address for the next few weeks then revert to using the Encinitas PO Box.

Here’s the address:
Bridget Regan
Henderson Valley Studios
12 Hickory Rd.
P.O. Box 21124
Henderson, New Zealand

E! Online Interview With Bridget
February 12, 2010 at 11:24 pm

If you’re a fan of the syndicated fantasy series Legend of the Seeker, you must not miss this weekend’s all-new “Torn.” It features some ultrasexy Richard-and-Kahlan scenes, and we just chatted with Bridget Regan exclusively to find out why the Confessor and the Seeker are making out, plus we got scoop on how come the show shook up season two with a new castmember and a new look for Kahlan…

OK, so we hear this weekend’s episode is a big one for Kahlan—tell us what’s she in for.

The episode is called “Torn” and Kahlan is summoned to Aydindril, which is her home normally, and where the Mother Confessor would preside and live. She goes, and something really horrible happens, and Kahlan gets literally split into two. So, I have the absolute pleasure of playing nearly two different roles. And one side or the other can completely go out of control, especially when one side has this magical power that can really take over when it’s not balanced with emotion and compassion and so forth.

BRIDGET REGAN (Legend of the Seeker) Exclusive Interview
by Sandie February 12, 2010

I recently got a chance to talk to Bridget Regan, who plays Kahlan Amnell on Legend of the Seeker, about this week’s new episode “Torn” which will see her character go through quite a trip.

It’s no secret that I have been a huge fan of Bridget Regan since the beginning of Legend of the Seeker (you can read my previous interview with her here). she is a really talented actress that is just getting started in her career. I anticipate we’ll be soon seeing a lot more of her.

Bridget Regan talked about what you can expect from “Torn,” what’s coming up in the rest of the season, some of her upcoming projects, and much more. So make sure to tune in this weekend and watch Legend of the Seeker’s new episode “Torn” (go to the official website to find your local time & channel). But for now enjoy the interview! Read more »
